I did not see your article until today, but want to thank you for writing about Albert Snyder&#039;s son and my son Dan Markingson.  What happened at this veteran&#039;s funeral was shameful, as was what happened to Dan.

We must continue to work to eliminate the wrongs in this country - bit by bit - and our voices will continue to grow stronger.  Margaret Mead once said, &quot;Never doubt that a small group of concerned citizens can change the world; indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.&quot;

Again, thank you, and thank you to Dr. Carl Elliott, from whom I believe you learned of Dan.
