A Word on The Daily Digest

This winter and spring quarters, Stanford Law School (and the Center for Law and the Biosciences) is fortunate to have Nita Farahany as a visiting professor. Professor Farahany is Associate Professor of Law and Associate Professor of Philosophy at Vanderbilt as well as a member of President Obama’s Commission on Bioethics. One important aspect of her work involves the use of genetic and neurological evidence in court. As part of that, each morning she reviews newly decided cases relating to those issues.

Professor Farahany has agreed to post her thoughts on the most interesting of these cases on the Law and Biosciences Blog. I hope this will bring a wave of new visitors to the Blog – and a jolt of new energy to its bloggers. It will certainly provide us with a great source for interesting new cases.
