You can use Google Apps Docs using the following fully supported browsers and operating systems:

What is the benefit of using Google Apps Docs?
Google Apps Docs saves your documents, spreadsheets and presentation to a secure, online storage facility eliminating the need to save it to your hard drive. And you can access your documents from any computer. Of course the IT department highly recommends you to save a backup copy of your documents on network share or other sources.
Is there a size limit in Google Apps Docs?
Each document can have a maximum size of 500K plus 2MB per embedded image.
Spreadsheets can be up to 256 columns or up to 200,000 cells or 100 sheets – whichever limit is reached first.
Presentations can have a maximum of 10MB; files uploaded from the Web can be up to 2MB; emailed files can be up to 500K

I want to share my documents in Google Apps Docs:
You can share your documents by checking the desired document and clicking on the Share. You can share the document by making others as collaborators or viewers.
* Collaborators can edit documents, spreadsheets, and presentations; Invite or delete other collaborators and a viewers if the owner has given them permission; and can export a copy of the document, spreadsheet or presentation to their local hard drive.
* Viewers can only view the most recent version of a document, spreadsheet or presentation and can export them to their local hard drive.
If you want the document, spreadsheet or presentation to be open to the public, click the box next to Invitations may be used by anyone. But a Google Account would be needed if a user is invited to view presentations.
Are there any limits on sharing?
Yes, documents, spreadsheets and presentations are limited to 200 combined viewers and collaborators. But publishing them will grant people access without the need to specifically invite them.
Are there any limits on how many people can edit and/or view document, spreadsheet or presentation at any given time?
Yes, documents and presentations are limited to 10 people at any given time while spreadsheets have a limit of 50 people at any given time.
How do I know if someone else is editing a doc?
Document s – a box at the bottom left of the screen will appear. 10 people can edit a document at the same time.
Spreadsheets – a Discuss tab will open and you will see the names of the collaborators. The Discuss tab allows you to chat with current collaborators about changes being made. 50 people can edit a spreadsheet at the same time.
Presentations – names of all the collaborators who are editing the presentation at the same time will be displayed in the bottom-right corner. You can chat with other collaborators in View presentation mode. 10 people can edit the presentation at the same time.
Can I remove collaborators?
Yes but only if you are the owner of doc. If you are a collaborator, you can remove another collaborator as long as the doc owner has granted you that permission. To remove a collaborator, click here to learn how.
Can I email docs as attachment?
Yes, just open the document, click on Share and then Email as attachment. Type in the recipient’s email address and send.
Can I change the ownership of a doc?
You can only change the ownership of documents and presentations. And you can only change ownership if you are the owner of the document. To change ownership, check the doc, click on More Actions and choose Change Owner. Type in the email address of the new owner and click Change Owner.
Note: You cannot change ownership of a doc to someone outside law.stanford.edu
How do I name my docs?
When you create a new document, Google App Docs will save it as either Untitled or the first few words entered in the document. To rename, click on File and select Rename. You could also click on the title displayed at the top left of the page to rename the document.
Are there any templates I could use in Google App Docs?
Yes, just click New and select From template…
How to I save Google App Doc files to my computer?
To save a document to your local computer, click File, then select one of the Download file as options.
To save a spreadsheet to your local computer, click File, the mouse over to Export option.
To save a presentation to your local computer, click File, and select Save as PDF or Save as PPT.
I got a “Too many spreadsheets open” error:

There is an error in your formula, simply go back and edit the formula.
